We are dedicated to delivering a curriculum and an ethos that challenges, stretches, develops and nurtures to ensure pupils grow into all that they can be.

At Boundary Oak we see it as our responsibility not only to prepare our pupils for examinations, but also to prepare them for life.

Our pupils thrive within our nurturing family atmosphere, while a stimulating and exciting environment allows them to grow personally and develop a love of learning.

A truly enriching education is about much more than academic achievement alone. It is also about developing a passion for learning, capacity for independent thinking, sound moral values, inherent self-confidence and a broad range of interests that extend beyond the classroom.

Our teaching focuses on excellence and on growth. We want our pupils to be excellent and also to have belief in their own abilities. By focusing on the child holistically and igniting their passion for learning we encourage them to flourish as they enjoy the richness and variety of their education.

As a boarding school, we also provide a home-from-home for many children and that family atmosphere is enthusiastically extended around the rest of the school. Day pupils also benefit from the excellent wraparound care that only boarding schools genuinely offer.

Recent investments and developments continue to improve the excellent facilities on offer at the school; new senior school classrooms, new sports hall, new dining hall and new a Design & Technology centre compliment the existing astro, swimming pool, tennis courts, science laboratories, outdoor learning classroom, horticultural centre, traversing climbing wall, adventure playground, rugby pitches, extensive playing fields, woodland school, theatre, music centre and refurbished boarding house.

Boundary Oak School is positively buzzing and could not be a more vibrant and exciting environment to challenge, stretch and nurture.

Please see our whole school Curriculum Map for a detailed overview of our curriculum.

Pupils’ highly positive attitudes are promoted by warm and encouraging staff who use praise highly effectively to motivate pupils.
