Little Acorns Pre-School

Boundary Oak School Pre-School, located near Fareham, is full of children from 2 to 4 years enjoying a healthy, happy Pre School experience. As they develop their own love of learning they have loads of fun too! With plenty of indoor and outdoor space including their own garden, mud kitchen, or our Woodland School, the Little Acorns Pre School children benefit from full use of our 30 acres of beautiful school grounds whether it be for bug hunting, puddle jumping or simply chasing your friends around in the wind!

Our Pre-School offers full or part-time education and provides the perfect transition into ‘Big School’. This is the place where our Little Acorns really start to grow.

A Caring Environment

Children in our Pre School learn to interact with each other in our caring environment through play and learning based activities. A broad and balanced curriculum provides the opportunity to develop concepts, attitudes, knowledge and skills to prepare them for the next stage of their education and personal & social development.

French is introduced at this stage with specialist teachers also taking the children for Sport and PE. Children also take part in school plays, musical afternoons and other family afternoons such as carols around the campfire, each term to which parents are invited.

The Early Years staff work together across our Pre-School and Reception years to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment. Sports days, Science exploration and Forest Fridays, which take place in our on-site Woodland School, and are all part of their everyday learning experiences. The children’s learning journey also incorporates the Boundary Oak Open Futures Curriculum.

Our Pre School offers full wraparound care for working parents, helping to take the stress out of busy days, while also offering flexible sessions to work around the school run or half days as you require.
