Pupils, Parents and Staff Spread Generosity with Pay It Forward Campaign Launch
Get set to witness festive cheer, as our pupils, staff and parents launch the eagerly awaited Pay It Forward campaign.
The launch of this kindness campaign is set to spread generosity throughout the school and around the local community.
The Pay It Forward campaign launched this week and it sees staff and pupils responding to acts of kindness by being kind to someone else in return. The launch will see pupils venturing into the local area to do good deeds and spread kindness.
From reading to the elderly in nursing homes to assisting with picking up litter and recycling, the kindness campaign will see pupils sharing generosity within the school and helping make significant improvements in the local community.
The campaign offers an opportunity to teach pupils about kindness and generosity, as well as putting smiles on faces across the school site and beyond.
Speaking about the kindness campaign, our headmaster said:
‘We are thrilled to be launching this campaign throughout the school amongst staff, families and pupils and see differences being made within the local community. Boundary Oak School is the perfect platform to push such a heart-warming, family-orientated message and we feel it echoes and reinforces our brand values perfectly.
Our values are what makes us one of the best boarding schools and we are excited to see how this campaign develops in the coming weeks.
It is also a great way of bringing everyone together within the school and connecting with the local community in a positive way.’
Planned community activities include donating toys to the local children’s hospital, reading to the elderly in local nursing homes and encouraging recycling and clearing litter in various local areas.
Pupils have been gearing up for the campaign for a number of weeks in preparation for the much-anticipated launch, and they are excited about seeing the impact they are set to have in the community.
Yasmin Thomas, Head Girl at Boundary Oak School, said: “We are all really excited about Pay it Forward, it’s a really good idea and will spread happiness. As pupils, we will have a sense of pride to know that we have helped someone who needs it.
It teaches all of us that, however old we are, no matter what we think people can be going through things in their lives that we may not know about and some kindness could make all the difference to their situation or how they are feeling. “
Keep your eyes peeled for updates on Pay It Forward activities happening throughout our school and the surrounding area in the coming weeks.
