Match Report: U15 Netball against Hampshire Collegiate School

On the 20th of February the Year 9 and 10 girls travelled to Hampshire Collegiate School to play netball.

In the first quarter we passed the ball really well, but only managed to score one goal to their four. However, we started to catch up in the second quarter. Sunny and Eva defended brilliantly, intercepting many passes and moving the ball onto Scarlett who fed the ball into our shooters. Jess and Yasmin really got going in the second quarter scoring several goals. They were amazing!

Crystal came on at WD (wing defence) in the third quarter and made some excellent interceptions. Megan, Tina, and Libby made valuable contributions, successfully rotating round various positions. This was very helpful as they could try positions that were new to them.

In the last quarter and we had a change of positions. Laura moved to Goal Attack and scored some goals from quite far out to bring the final score to 11-8. HCS may have won but we got stronger as the match went on, so well done to everyone!

Laura M-P (Year 9)
