Boundary Oak School Set to Launch Senior School in 2016

Top Hampshire boarding institution Boundary Oak School to launch Senior School in 2016.

Boundary Oak School is thrilled to announce that it is to extend its age range from 2 to 13 years to 2 to 16 years for both day and boarding pupils. This will provide its students with an education up to GCSE level, with the first Year 9 children being enrolled for September 2016.

Headmistress Hazel Kellett remarks, “We are delighted to be opening up a Senior School in September 2016, when we will have our first Year 9 intake. This is just the beginning; as you can imagine, it has been an extremely exciting but busy time and there is much more still to do.”

“Our pupils will now be able to continue their educational journey at Boundary Oak through to 16 years. This an exceptional place in which for pupils to grow into curious, innovative and resilient people who can think for themselves and are prepared for life beyond Boundary Oak.”

The Fareham-based independent school has gone from strength to strength over the past 18 months, offering a unique and exceptional educational experience. This exciting expansion has been part of the school’s development plan for some time, largely due to demand within the local community and current market trends.

Proprietor Aaron Stewart observes, “After significant upgrading of facilities, additional staff and school marketing, we have seen a great improvement in almost every area of school life at Boundary Oak. Pupil numbers have increased by 81% in just 18 months, which is fantastic.”

Stewart continues, “This would not have been possible without the support of new and existing parents, pupils and staff, which has been overwhelming.”

Existing parents have welcomed the long-awaited move and are delighted to be able to extend their children’s time at Boundary Oak into Year 11.

In light of their announcement to launch a Senior School, further developments are in place including additional classroom blocks and a Senior Common Room. There are also plans to enhance the existing outdoor swimming pool by building an indoor facility with changing rooms.

The atmosphere at Boundary Oak School is highly regarded. The commitment to the school’s ethos is central to its success and will be embraced by everyone involved in the Senior years. “We are all very excited about what the future holds and the additional opportunities we can now offer our pupils,” adds Hazel Kellett.

“When a child leaves us, they will be well-prepared for the world, self-confident, sociable and articulate—and now they can look forward to achieving excellent GCSE results at Boundary Oak too.”
