Welcome to Boundary Oak School

Offering Day and Boarding for 2 to 16 years

Located among 30 acres of beautiful English countryside, our day and boarding school it is home to a number of staff members and pupils, some of whom live in the former hunting lodge of the Swanwick Estate, now a Grade II Listed building.

Our pupils have many opportunities and are taught in a stimulating learning environment, which at the same time has a strong family ethos. Each member of staff is dedicated to inspirational teaching and excellent pastoral care. We are one team, working hard to ensure that each of our pupils achieves their very best.

Together, we ensure that we reflect and reward our pupils’ efforts both inside and beyond the classroom. Pupils are encouraged to use their initiative and think outside the normal academic boxes thus encouraging them to be creative and independent in their learning.

Staff work hard at Boundary Oak School and are supported and encouraged to develop their skills. We have a comprehensive training programme and teaching staff are encouraged to attend subject or skill specific courses and also seek positions of additional responsibility within the school. Academic staff are supported by an excellent team of dedicated admissions, administrative, catering, maintenance & facilities staff as well as visiting teachers and professional coaches who support our Sport, Music and Drama departments. We all work together in an active, learning community, with a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to high standards.

Classrooms benefit from the latest technology and learning tools which, together with the extensive sporting grounds, theatre, library, woodland school, swimming pool and dedicated art and DT studio ensure a successful blend of indoor and outdoor learning. In addition, a whole host of activities and co-curricular clubs make this an exceptional place for pupils to grow into curious, innovative and resilient people that can think for themselves and are prepared for life beyond Boundary Oak.

I very much hope you will consider Boundary Oak School as a place for your child to learn, grow and develop; it’s a special community to be part of. Please do come and pay us a visit so that I can show you first hand.
